DESCRIPTION:The concerts will feature performances by each of CDCC's five choirs and CDCC's Alumni Choir with a special performance by CDCC's pre-choir\, Singing for 2nd Graders\, during Saturday's concert. For the finale\, all the choirs will join together for Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory's "Hope for Resolution." In its juxtaposition of a European chant melody (Of the Father's Love Begotten) and an anti-apartheid song from South Africa\, this piece is a celebration of diversity. The arrangement reflects our respect for divergent musical styles and points us toward our innate potential for peaceful coexistence.
