DESCRIPTION:The annual Color Splash Fun Dash will take place on May 13 at Cottonwood Park in Bismarck! This fun\, colorful\, family 5k is an exciting and active way to welcome springtime\, and warm up for a spectacular season of run/walk events. At this vibrant and boisterous run\, racers wear white (white t-shirts included with registration) as they complete a scenic course through 6 different "color splash zones\," regaling walkers and runners with a veritable rainbow of color and creating a festive\, messy and fun environment for all participants. Color Splash Fun Dash day-of highlights include a kid's jump and play zone\, food trucks and merchandise vendors\, live music by All Aces and the McMahon Brothers\, a creative\, non-competitive charity 5k and an after party for adults! 100% of the proceeds from the event benefit the Missouri Valley Family YMCA's Annual Support Campaign to fund community programs like Safety Around Water\, Youth Development Pass\, Membership Scholarship\, Livestrong\, Parkinson's Wellness and more. All of the money raised at this event goes directly to more than 3\,000 youth\, families and seniors\, right here in Bismarck Mandan.
