DESCRIPTION:November 11th   18th is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week\, Missouri Slope Areawide United Way will host a "Walk a Mile in My Shoe" Event at the United Way's Center for Opportunity located at 1140 S. 12th St. Please join us on November 15th at noon for a unique opportunity to gather the community\, shelter guests\, and staff to walk a mile. We will start walking together at the United Way Center for Opportunity\, walk to the Dream Center (a common stop for shelter residents)\, and then back to the United Way Center for Opportunity where we will end. We will gather and enjoy a free meal at the end of the walk.
