DESCRIPTION:If you've ever been curious about Junior Achievement (JA)\, but didn't know how to take that first step\, you're invited to attend the JA Kick Off TONIGHT Tuesday\, Oct. 21 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Bismarck-Mandan Chamber.\n\n \n\nThe informational event will give participants the bare bones facts about JA. If you're a "veteran" of the JA program\, either as an educator or a volunteer\, this is a great time to get the year rolling\, pick up kits\, and meet with your team member\, if you've been matched with one.\n\n \n\nAs Bismarck-Mandan grows\, so does the need for Junior Achievement in the schools and volunteers to help out. There are programs starting at the Kindergarten level and moving up to the Personal Finance at the 8th grade level. You can choose where you want help out.\n\n \n\nJA's 2014-15 goal is to reach 200 classrooms\; to do so\, the non-profit needs your help. You may fill out a volunteer registration form on the JA website at www.bismanja.org. RSVP for the JA Kick Off by calling 701-223-5660 or emailing spaulson@bismancc.com.
