DESCRIPTION:We invite the community to join in on the celebration and attend Little Black Dress Campaign Celebration Social event on Thursday\, September 19th at BSC National Energy Center of Excellence from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets to the social are $40. During the week of September 16-19th\, Women United and friends will lead a poverty awareness campaign\, Little Black Dress. The campaign includes over 200 women each wearing a black dress or outfit for four days\, along with a goal to raise $1\,500 per team. This campaign will support United Way?s Education Initiative\, helping women and children to overcome the barriers of poverty in order to succeed in school and in life.
