On Oct. 15 from 1:30-2:30 p.m.\, Archives Specialist Emily Ergen and Head of Technical Services Stephanie Baltzer Kom will present some strategies for organizing your family's collection   whether it includes photographs\, letters\, certificates\, audio or video recordings\, documents\, or books   and making items within it easy to find and share with your family. We will discuss at-home methods to ensure that important items are preserved\, touch on recommended archival storage supplies\, outline advantages to various indexing techniques and weigh the pros and cons of scanning.
