The Missouri Valley Family YMCA\, in its 50th Anniversary Year\, is excited to celebrate the culmination of its Annual Support Campaign with "Strong Kids Week." Every spring\, the Y conducts its annual fundraising effort to garner support for its outstanding community programming like Safety Around Water\, Youth Development Pass\, Membership Scholarship\, Livestrong at the YMCA\, Parkinson's Wellness and much more. Each year\, the Y provides over $400\,000 to more than 3\,000 people in Bismarck Mandan in order to ensure a healthier\, more active and stronger community. The theme for this year's Annual Support Campaign is "Build More Than Muscle\," as the Missouri Valley Family YMCA encourages our friends and neighbors to donate to our programming where together we build youth\, families and community. From March 27 through April 3\, the Y will present "Strong Kids Week\," as we work with our members and supporters to raise awareness of our community programming and collect donations for those who participate and are in financial need. When you give to the Y on "Strong Kids Week\," you will be part of giving a school aged child a fun and safe place to play\, grow and be active\, delivering a lifesaving\, skill-building swim program to an area 2nd grader\, sending an eager young person through an educational camp or offering a family financial support in order that they may be stronger and healthier together. The goal of the Missouri Valley Family YMCA is to provide a healthy environment to everyone in our community\, regardless of their ability to pay\, and with your contributions we can guarantee that each person in our area has access to our programs and services. Please consider a donation to your Missouri Valley Family YMCA during "Strong Kids Week\," March 27-April 3\, and be part of something bigger.
