DESCRIPTION:Anne Carlsen is hosting the 2nd Annual Suits & Sandals event on Thursday\, August 7th at the sandy McDowell Dam beach\, located five miles east and one mile north of Bismarck (1951 93rd St NE). A semi-casual beach party next to the water\, all proceeds benefit Anne Carlsen\, to advance its mission of nurturing abilities and changing lives for individuals with disabilities. Dinner is being catered by Harvest Brazilian Grill and a steel drum band will provide the entertainment. There is also a silent auction with some amazing items! The Anne Carlsen Community Based Services office opened in Bismarck in September 2012. They provide in-home and day supports to area children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
