Barth is the executive director of the Missouri Valley Heritage Alliance/Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation. The Society for the Preservation of the Former Governors' Mansion recently received grants from the Northern Plains Heritage Foundation for an outdoor interpretive sign and to assist with the replacement of the cedar shingle roof at the Former Governors' Mansion.
