A compelling culture instills a sense of belonging in a community. Join us Wednesday, March 28th at 1 Million Cups in Bismarck & Mandan to hear the significant impact Folkways and Makewell are making in North Dakotan communities. Folkways uses immersive experiences to solve problems like workforce retention, economic vitality, and communal belonging. Fargo-based culture creators Joseph Burgum + Simone Wai are working with small business owners, artists, and musicians to activate urban spaces. Makewell has created a space for local makers + doers to connect, learn, and be inspired by each other. Founder Ashton Hauff believes in community > competition. The Bismarck-based team encourages diversity of craft and supporting local talent.
