"A Grandparents Guide to the State Museum" is a fun tour to familiarize grandparents with the spaces and opportunities available to them at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. On Dec. 16, 18, and 20, grandparents and all adults are invited to a free 45-minute tour. Participants will learn how to make the most of a later museum visit with a grandchild or others and discover the history of North Dakota together. Led by a State Museum gallery guide, tours will be offered at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., beginning at the east information desk. This tour is for adults only and will help those leading others learn eight fascinating highlights of the State Museum and provide tips on how to navigate the museum galleries with children, where to find food, snacks, strollers, and more. Participants will gain greater confidence in preparing for a visit and creating a special outing.
