The Annual Arthur A. Link Fiddle Festival will take place at the Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site on Saturday, March 4, and will include a concert at the North Dakota Heritage Center on Sunday, March 5. The Festival is free and open to the public. Area string students will perform at the Former Governors' Mansion, located at 320 E. Ave. B., Bismarck, beginning at 12 p.m. on March 4. Between student performances the Strolling Strings will entertain. On March 5 at 4 p.m. the Bismarck Mandan Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. The Arthur A. Link Fiddle Festival is sponsored by the Society for the Preservation of the Former Governors' Mansion and the State Historical Society of North Dakota, Bismarck Public Schools, and the North Dakota Council on the Arts to promote string music education and appreciation in honor of Arthur A.
