The ‘Farming & Ranching for the Bottom Line’ conference will be held at the Bismarck State College (BSC) National Energy Center of Excellence on February 26-27, 2019.
Keynoting day one will be Dr. Temple Grandin, world renowned animal behavior and handling expert. Day two will feature keynote speakers Mark Schatzker, author of “Steak: One Man’s Search for the World’s Tastiest Piece of Beef” and “The Dorito Effect: The Surprising New Truth about Food and Flavor”; and international grazing expert Greg Judy of Rucker, Missouri.
The North Dakota Stockmen’s Association will host a free evening reception on February 26 for attendees and presenters.
The program is organized by the Area 4 SCD Research Farm, NDSU Extension, BSC, USDA, North Dakota Grazing Lands Coalition, Morton and Burleigh County Soil Conservation Districts, and the Menoken Farm.
