The annual Parkinson’s Seminar will take place Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Baymont Inn & Suites in Mandan. The seminar, sponsored by the Bismarck Parkinson’s Support Group, will feature speakers, brochures, books and information on Parkinson’s Disease as well as exhibitors. Guest speakers include Laura Logsdon, BSN, RN speaking about "Duopa-A Treatment Option for Advanced Parkinson’s"; Randy Tank from Great Plains Rehabilitation speaking on "Home and Vehicle Accessibility"; Dr. Ralph Dunnigan, Neurologist speaking about "Living with Parkinson’s"; and Pastor Gary Heaton speaking about "Learning to Live with a Progressive Disease." Continuing Education Hours may be granted for attendance. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m., with the program beginning at 9:30a.m. and ending at 3pm. Cost to attend is $10 per person which includes lunch. Please submit your registration form by August 31, 2017.
