This presentation by Steven Deutsch will focus on the major campaigns and battles of World War I and II. Focus will be given especially to what happened during particular events regarding these military encounters. With that focus in mind, things such as strategy, tactics, and troop movements will be examined. Strategic positions as well as war aims by the opposing sides will be considered for both wars. Lastly, reasons behind how the war was won or lost will be examined. Deutsch is a museum gallery guide at the North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum. Steven is a graduate from the University of Jamestown where he got his Bachelor’s Degree in history. Steven has had interest in Military History for a long time, particularly in World War II.
