Description Join us for a free screening of Reflections: The People of Turtle Mountain, a documentary. Following the film will be a discussion describing a way to trace family lines to earlier times and places. Share pilgrimages to ancestral sites with others who have been inspired to take the threads farther. Stephanie Baltzer Kom from the State Archives will join in the discussion, bringing her expertise using Ancestry, particularly with Norwegian and Swedish records as well as German ones. This event is part of the State Historical Society of North Dakota's Sensational Sundays program. Sensational Sundays are free programs that include a variety of lectures, concerts, movies, and tours that provide engaging, educational, historic, and cultural information.
