Join us for our quarterly STEM (science\, technology\, engineering and math) event with a wide variety offund hands-on activities for all ages from babies and toddlers to grandparents! Activity stations in the works include two engineering design challenges\, the Bobsled Blitz and Poppa Penguin\; Rocket Reactions (launching plastic caps into the air using a baking soda reaction)\; Gum & Chocolate and Sweet Self Assembly (both involve taste-testing!)\; Soda Can Mirror\; Nature of Dye\; Drawing Machines\; Coding With Spheros (Sphero Jousting and Sphero Maze)\; four different Mess Hall Kits that visitors will check out and do the activity\, then return the kit (try one or do all four!)\; and more! The toddler play area will be available\, too! And last but not least\, the a feathery friend from the Bismarck Larks will be visiting STEM Spectacular from 1 3 pm! The Winter STEM Spectacular will be open from 1-4 pm with an exclusive preview for Gateway to Science members from 12:30-1 p.m. Opens to the public at 1 p.m. All STEM Spectacular activities are FREE.
