DESCRIPTION:MSA United Way's Walk-a-Mile in My Shoes is designed to raise awareness about homelessness in our community and the challenges many individuals face in accessing essential resources. Participants will walk one mile\, representing the distance that many people experiencing homelessness must travel to find food\, shelter\, and other critical services. The walk will take place at United Way's Center for Opportunity\, located at 1140 S. 12th Street\, Bismarck. Following the walk\, participants are invited to enjoy lunch and take a guided tour of the Center for Opportunity to learn more about the services and support available to individuals and families in our community.
