|The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of generalized human resources management duties in support of city operations such as; recruitment, selection, placement, classification, salary administration, training, payroll, benefits administration and worker’s compensation. The overall goal of the department is to service the needs of City staff and to comply with the policies, regulations and procedures established by Federal and State laws and City ordinances.|
|-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or other related field
-Minimum of two years’ experience performing Human Resource functions
|-SHRM or IPMA certification preferred
-Experience in Government preferred
