CAT, Bis-Man Transit Public Listening Sessions
Capital Area Transit (CAT) and Bis-Man Transit will be conducting three listening events in January and February. These events are free and open to the public. The first event will be held Friday, January 29, at the Training Room in the Bis-Man Transit Center, located at 3750 East Rosser Avenue in Bismarck. Subsequent listening sessions will also be held Wednesday, February 3, at the Veteran?s Conference Room at Mandan City Hall, located at 205 Second Ave NW in Mandan, and Wednesday, February 10, at Room C of the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, located at 515 North Fifth Street in Bismarck. All sessions will begin at 4:30 p.m. and conclude by 6 p.m. The intent of the public listening sessions is to give ridership and the general public the opportunity to tell us what they would like in a public transportation system. The information from the sessions will be vital as the the fixed-route and demand-response systems move forward in coming months and years. An online form will be available at www.thecatbus.com and www.bismantransit.com for anyone who would like to submit opinions but will be unable to attend the listening events.
