Join us for a talk with Dr. Perry Horbacher, Professor of History, Bismarck State College. On March 29, 1942, under an executive order signed by President Roosevelt, the forced evacuation and detention of West Coast residents of Japanese American ancestry began. The internment forced relocation and incarceration of over 120,000 Japanese, 60,000 of whom were American citizens.
