NDSU Executive Education: Leadership and Management
Leadership and Management: The Essential Foundations Essential leadership attributes and management skills often mean the difference between thriving or failing as a manager. This workshop is designed to help new or existing managers increase their abilities to lead teams. They will gain skills to assess team dynamics and to improve trust and influence with those they are leading. At the completion of this workshop participants will be equipped with the necessary tools to motivate their team to achieve desired results. ACHIEVE Training Centre provides training and consulting services related to leadership development and organizational performance. Their trainers are not only specialists in their field, but also dynamic speakers who deliver content-oriented presentations that are both engaging and informative. About the Presenter David Boehm - David Boehm has over 20 years of working in the US agricultural industry and currently is the R&D Director for a US research program. He has provided leadership for independent family-owned businesses and large multi-national organizations in the areas of marketing, communication and management support, and has collaborated with a wide range of university and industry partners. Based in Fargo, North Dakota, David makes training material come alive for groups through personal experiences and real-life interactions.
