Stand Up Comedy with Tim & Bengt

Dakota Stage Ltd. is thrilled to continue its colorful season of LIVE STAND UP COMEDY! Headlined by the hilarious, nationally touring comedy team of Tim Slagle & Bengt Washburn, this exciting showcase of extraordinary, experienced standup comedy is not to be missed! On Friday and Saturday, October 24th & 25th, at 8pm, enjoy a hysterical hour of laughs presented by fantastic funny men, Tim Slagle & Bengt Washburn! Political Satirist Tim Slagle is a twenty-five year veteran of the comedy club circuit, and he has performed in most of the 50 states, Canada, and Mexico. His edgy style has made him a cult hero, and a favorite of his peers. He wages a war against political correctness, and fights for Truth and Justice in a time when speaking your mind is a crime more heinous than treason. Comedian Bengt Washburn is a former winner of the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition. He has been seen on The Late Late Show with Craig Fergusen, Live at Gotham on Comedy Central and most recently Conan on TBS. He was invited to perform at the Vancouver International Comedy Festival, The Boston Comedy Festival, the Aspen Laff Festival and Gilda?s Laugh Fest in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He?s been heard on NPR, PRI and Bob and Tom. All three of his comedy Cd?s can be heard playing on XM Sirius radio. Most people who know him would say Bengt is a logistically impaired ditz, but his comedy is described as intelligent, surprisingly universal considering the content matter and profoundly funny. Concessions will be available for purchase at the theatre and a cash bar will be provided in house. Tickets are just $15 per person when purchased in advance online, or $18 at the box office one hour prior to the event. Doors will open at 7pm for general admission on the night of the show. Seating is limited so patrons should reserve early to ensure tickets. Dakota Stage will present a total of six shows in its standup comedy series this season.
