The 9th annual Dakota Film Festival runs from April 2-4 at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. The event kicks off Thursday night at 7pm with documentaries "Seed" & "The Oak Tree and Onigiri" with filmmaker Masanori Baba presented by Bismarck State College and Artsquest. This event is FREE ADMISSION. Friday's Night of Shorts starts at 7pm and features award winning short films from the region and around the world. Filmmakers are invited on-stage to speak about their film. A Saturday Matinee at 2 pm offers additional films as well as the Dakota Film Dash competition and awards ceremony.
