Gather up your old bank statements, tax returns, credit card statements, and other documents that you no longer need that contain your personal information. For the sixth consecutive year, Record Keepers is partnering with The Village Family Service Center to help prevent Identity Theft by providing Free Shredding to individuals during National Protect Your Identity Week. The event will on October 15th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Record Keepers, 2624 Vermont Avenue. We will also be offering free computer hard drive shredding this year. Material is limited to three file boxes or 4 shopping bags (approximately 100 pounds), and two computer hard drives (removed from the computer) per person. This is a Free event; individuals interested in making a contribution may donate non-perishable food items that will be delivered to a local food bank. Please call 223-8199 for more information.
