Honesty in Horsemanship is $300 for a two day clinic, which includes a booklet going over the clinic material and 8 hours of horsemanship each day. It is limited to 15 riders, and is very hands on due to the small size. I am doing a drawing at each clinic for a free private lesson. I am also having a photography taken at the clinic and participants will get a photograph of them and their horse participating in the clinic. It doesn't cost more to bring more than one horse, but if you do bring two I can't guarantee one on one time with both horses, only if time allows. The spring clinic is a Honesty in Horsemanship 1 clinic, which is basic to intermediate horsemanship. Ray Hunt, the Master of Communication said, ?Our goal is to get the horse working on 90% mental, 10% physical.? That is what these clinics are about. There are two segments to these clinics, Honesty in Horsemanship 1 and Honesty in Horsemanship 2. Honesty in Horsemanship 2 is building on the skills and theories taught in HiH1. In order to participate in HiH2, you must have participated in the first part of the series, or have consent from Tori. If you have never communicated with your horse with the method of feel, you are really missing out. I have accomplished more with this style of training than with any kind of traditional methods of ?breaking? the horse.I am proud to say that I have had two horses buck with me ever out of the hundreds of horses I have trained. That is over a 98% success rate over the traditional method, where every horse is bucked out. These clinics teach you how to be honest with the horse, how to communicate with them to gain a mutual understanding of what is being asked of them. When we look up the meaning of Honesty, we will find fairness, straightforwardness. Think about how traditional training deals with the horse. By no means do I imply that the horse is babied or pampered, but is treated with respect, honesty and dignity. I can promise you that you will learn something in this clinic series. Day one of this clinic is half ground work, then the second half of the day is applying that under saddle IF everyone is ready to move forward. Otherwise we will work longer to establish the groundwork to make sure everyone understands. Their horses don't need to be perfect, but the rider needs to understand it. Day two of this clinic will have a short refresher at the beginning of the clinic, then the rest of the day will be riding. So about 7 hours of riding. If you have any other questions please let me know, I am happy to go over in more detail any aspect of the clinic. In order to reserve your spot I need a deposit of at lease $150. Harmony Stables is dealing with stalls, you will need to contact them for that information. Contact me for a clinic form. Deposits are due before spots are reserved.
