Tuba Four is a brass quartet consisting of two euphoniums and two tubas. These are the two lowest voiced brass instruments. Their desire is to present audiences with a variety of musical styles from instruments often only heard in a supportive role in a band or orchestra. Their music includes folk and patriotic songs, hymns, marches, and compositions specifically written for euphonium-tuba quartet. The ensemble consists of Marlin Peterson and Tim Fogderud on the euphonium, and Doug Smith and David Candy on the tuba.
