10.15 Project 2026 Relay Team

The 10.15 Project officially announced the twelve runners selected for its 2026 statewide relay during a
press conference held Tuesday morning at Vance Thompson Vision.
Taking place October 15–18, 2026, the four-day relay will span more than 400 miles across North Dakota, honoring families
who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss while raising awareness and support for grieving families. The route will
travel through communities across the state, connecting and uplifting those impacted along the way:
● Medora (Starting Line)
● Dickinson
● Bismarck
● Jamestown
● Fargo (Finish Line)
Pregnancy and infant loss touches far more lives than most people realize. One in four pregnancies end in loss. Thousands
of families each year experience infant loss. The 10.15 Project exists to help ensure that families navigating loss are
supported through acknowledgment, connection, and community. By creating space for remembrance and conversation,
runners will work to inspire understanding and remind families across North Dakota that they are surrounded by support.
The announcement brought together community leaders, advocates, and media, including remarks from Michael
Greenwood, MD, co-founder of The 10.15 Project; Jen Burgard, Executive Director of Haven; Mayor Bernie Dardis of West
Fargo; Deputy Mayor Denise Kolpack of Fargo; and Council Member Lisa Borgen of Moorhead.
“This project was created to honor families who have experienced unimaginable loss and to ensure they are never alone in
their grief,” said Michael Greenwood, MD, Co-Founder of The 10.15 Project. “This mission is deeply personal for me and
my family as we honor the lives of our daughters, Jules and Leni. Through every mile, we hope to bring light to families
walking through their darkest days and remind them they are seen, supported, and never alone.”
The twelve runners selected for the 2026 relay represent a diverse group of individuals, each with a personal connection or
passion for the mission:
