Art Exhibit Opening Reception

Join us for this special art exhibit featuring artists Arvin K. Davis, Jr. and Michele Gorres.

Arvin suffers from PTSD and his art allows him to process the emotions, traumas and self-created pressures of life. Arvin uses bright colors, strong brush strokes, detailed line work and splatters to get strong visuals - a contained chaos. A self-taught artist, he works in mixed media: watercolors, inks, fluid acrylics and standard acrylics. Bring headphones for this exhibit titled, "DOOM.banana".

Michele Gorres is a self-taught artist from North Dakota, whose works are dominated by rural life on the prairie. Michele enjoys creating works that trigger fond memories of days gone by using her drawing skills, pen and ink and paints.
