Book Repair with the State Archives

Learn how to repair books that have broken bindings, ripped out pages, and more! Join us Saturday, Oct. 26, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the classrooms. Learn how to repair books that have broken bindings, ripped out pages, and more! State Archives staff will first explain a few processes in conducting book repair; then together, our staff will help participants work on their own book projects. Please note that these techniques are to make books serviceable; these are not conservation tactics. Please bring a book or two (or a few) to repair as time allows!
