Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Dakota Stage Ltd. is proud to present Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, a daring classic drama by Tennessee Williams, as the next production of its thrilling 35th season.  Starring the familiar DSL faces of Austin J. Flemmer and Tom Chase, welcoming newcomers Brianna French and Emmalee Riegler and led by John Clemo in his Dakota Stage directorial debut, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is sure to be a sweltering hot show.  In a magnificent southern plantation home, a family celebrates the sixty-fifth birthday of its weathered and wealthy patriarch. Despite the festivities the mood is somber and a number of evils poison the gaiety: greed, sins of the past and desperate, clawing hopes for the future spar with one another as the knowledge that Big Daddy is dying slowly makes the rounds.  In this searing social commentary, dreams and desires create chaos on the already shaky ground of a house divided.  Loyalties are tested and love is challenged while Big Daddy?s family vies for his esteem, affection and inheritance.  Dakota Stage Ltd. will hold its run of Cat on a Hot Tin roof at 412 E Main Ave. in Bismarck.  Performances are at 7:30pm on Wednesdays through Saturdays and at 2pm on Sundays from March 20th through March 30th.  Tickets are $22 ($21 when purchased online) for adults and $19 ($18 when purchased online) for students, seniors, and military personnel.  Reservations can be made anytime online at www.dakotastageltd.com or after March 10th via email at execdir@dakotastageltd.com, by phone at 701-258-4998 and at the door before each show. PERFORMANCE!  For every ticket purchased for the Sunday, March 23rd performance, Dakota Stage will donate $5 to the Abused Adult Resource Center.  This fundraising effort is a way to ?give back? to an esteemed organization in our community and thank them for the hard work they do for our area.  Please join us in supporting this very worthy cause!  STUDENT RUSH TICKETS!  On Wednesday, March 26th only, students can get their tickets at the door beginning at 7pm for just $10 each for that night?s performance!  There are no advanced sales available, this price is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or on previously purchased tickets and patrons must present a current student IDs at the time of the order.
