Health Reform Workshop from BCBSND
Join us for a Health Reform Workshop from BCBSND
Federal health reform is complex and means something different to every business. The Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) are teaming up to provide you the tools you need to navigate through the rules and decisions you are facing.
The Chamber is hosting a pair of health care reform forums presented by BCBSND. The morning session is geared toward smaller employers, or those with fewer than 50 employees. The afternoon session will focus more on issues related to larger employers, or those with 50 or more employees.
Mike Potts, a BCBSND health care reform specialist, will present information important to employers, including:
· The federal exchange and how it works
· Insurance mandates and subsequent penalties
· Tax implications
· Changes to insurance plans and benefit packages
