Little Kids, Big World: Blast Off!
Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to the free interactive learning series "Little Kids, Big World" at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck. These interactive 30-minute programs introduce children to North Dakota’s fascinating history. Children and their accompanying adult(s) are asked to meet at the west entrance information desk. June 8 Blast Off! 10 and 11 a.m. View the spacesuit in the Inspiration Gallery: Yesterday and Today, then make your own rocket to launch. June 15 Happy Father’s Day, 2 and 3 p.m. Hear a story about Father’s Day, and create a gift for a dad or a special person in your life. June 19 Digging for Dinosaurs, 10 a.m. After listening to a story about dinosaur digs, become a paleontologist and go on a dig of your own. June 22 Digging for Dinosaurs, 10 and 11 a.m. After listening to a story about dinosaur digs, become a paleontologist and go on a dig of your own. June 29 Rocks Rule, 10 and 11 a.m. Investigate the rocks and minerals on exhibit in the State Museum to inspire your inner artist. Paint your own rock to take home.
