Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory control, and overall condition of the warehouse. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

This position will ensure all the processes for order fulfillment of the vending machines (VMs), micro markets (MMs) and delivery assigned are executed and optimizing the sale of the product -

• Will assist in the pre-kitting of the orders assigned for merchandising and fill in subsequent routes.
• Will stock the assigned truck staging area with snack and beverage product as appropriate to support the filling of VMs but with knowledge that the product is date sensitive and in some cases temperature sensitive to minimize food spoilage or expiration.
• Will assist in the stocking of products in the warehouse from suppliers to ensure an orderly, safe, and clean warehouse environment.
• Learning the micro-market systems and setting up inventory counts regularly.
• Optimize routes so that drivers are efficient daily, including identifying and upgrading locations or removing them.
• Taking inventory of the vending machines and the credit card readers out in the field.
• Potentially the ordering of product using computer software systems; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Will make sure the outside of the warehouse is clear of snow or ice so that deliveries and our trucks can safely come and go (winter months).
• Other tasks will be assigned as appropriate and as the company needs arise such as setting up new micro market locations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Basic computer skills; proficient in computer software or willingness to learn; position could lead to a Warehouse Manager.
